Start with the simple checks
Confirm the load is not oversized, the lint screen is clean and the visible transition hose is not crushed behind the dryer.
Then check the exhaust path
If drying time stays high, weak exterior airflow, a long duct run, buildup, a blocked termination or damaged duct can be contributing factors.
When appliance service may still be needed
If the vent path is clear and airflow is normal, the remaining problem may be inside the appliance. Vent service does not replace appliance diagnosis.
